African Postal Fraternity condoles with Algeria following plane crash
Immediately upon announcement of the fatal air crash that happened in Algeria on 11th April 2018 during the 37th Ordinary Session of the PAPU Administrative Council, the Chairman, Tontama Charles Millogo, and the Secretary General of the Union, Younouss Djibrine, expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Algerian people on behalf of Member States and partners of the Union. Below is the letter of condolence.

It is with profound sadness and deep emotion that Member States and partners, meeting in the 37th Ordinary Session of the Administrative Council of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) from 7th to 12th April 2018, learnt of the air crash that occurred on 11th April 2018 at Boufarik in the Blida region, claiming the lives of all passengers on board.
On behalf of the African Postal Fraternity and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to express our solidarity with the people of the great sister nation of Algeria. In this time of profound grief and mourning, we convey our heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion to His Excellency the Head of State, to the Honourable Minister and to the bereaved families in particular. May the Almighty God grant you all the strength and comfort to cope with this ordeal.
