DISPOSAL OF ASSETS OF THE PAN AFRICAN POSTAL UNION
The General Secretariat of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) intends to dispose of its remaining furniture, fixture, office equipment and other assets after the first and second round of sales. The remaining items areas indicated in Annex A.
The Union therefore, invites interested buyers to purchase these assets whose prices are now published alongside each asset in Annex A. The sale will be conducted on first-come-first served basis in accordance with the Union’s guidelines for disposal of damaged, obsolete and/or unserviceable assets and is open to both staff of the Union and the general public.
As a diplomatic Institution, it should be noted that PAPU has no taxation relationship with Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). Therefore all items are sold on “as is, where is” basis exclusive of tax and the Union will have no further liability after sale. The buyers shall be required to pay the relevant taxes directly to TRA.
Interested buyers may inspect and pay for any of the items at the address below from Friday 29th March to Monday 29th April 2019.
