Plenipotentiary Conference

The supreme policy making body of the Union is the Plenipotentiary Conference composed of Ministers in charge of Postal Matters/Communication and Information Technology in Member States, whose ordinary Sessions take place every four years to consider and approve a comprehensive four-year programme of activities and budget ceilings for the four-year cycle, to elect the Secretary General and his/her Deputy, among other things. The Conference may also hold Extra-ordinary Sessions when necessary.
